LOVE THIS!!! Would love to see you post a tutorial of how you did this!
ReplyDeleteLaura, the framed "art" isn't anything fancy. I measured 3 three pieces of white paper just a little larger than the size of the openings in the frames. I took my brayer and ran it in a yellow colored ink and went over the three pieces of white paper till they had color on them, I tried not to be perfect with that. With the butterflies, it was the Friendship's Flight set and I used black and cranberry inks to randomly stamp the butterflies making sure to turn them several different ways and let some go right off the paper. That was it for those pieces. I taped them to the back of the openings in the frame. I stamped the "life is nothing without friendship" on the actually mat of the frame (and yes, I was nervous, lol). Then I stamped three small butterflies on scrap white paper, covered them with liquid glass so they'd be shiny and thick like a sticker. When they were very dry I cut them out and used glue dots to stick them on the mat around the other pictures. I put the frame back together and gave it to my friend of 47 years. She loved it.
